Re: Coilovers, wheels, stance

Are these adapters safe, it looks like you'd be running with 1 bolt less, and do they do them with correct centre bores? Went looking on clio forum for merc wheel conversion and the guy in question had to shave a couple of mm from centre bore. lol Look at the picture there running all the bolts the...

Re: Coilovers, wheels, stance

Thought i'd give an update. The JOMs are ordered but i will have to wait a couple of week as they're coming from germany, been told not to wind them down for a few week or two after fitting cos they've got to settle down and that. While i was on phone to Venom Motorsport i asked about mercedes rims ...

Re: Coilovers, wheels, stance

Bit fed up of looking for a reasonably priced bumper so looks like thats going on the back burner for a bit. That means i can get on with the "coilovers, wheels, stance" part of my project. Gonna start by ordering the JOMs and have them wound up until i get the wheels sorted. Fingers cross...

Re: Coilovers, wheels, stance

Bit annoyed! went to order 225 bumper kit today for £270 from dealer only to be told price has gone up to over £600! If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
You can bet all the ones in scrap yard have had front end damage so looks like i'm gonna have to go down the fibre glass route.

Re: Coilovers, wheels, stance

Just gotta hope my local dealer will stick to their price i was quoted Friday which was cheaper than parts d...

Re: Coilovers, wheels, stance

Good to hear about the JOMs, i suppose the real test will come with long term usage. I'm on a limited budget with my car so i may have to get some instead of other brands, plus when they're wound up it says they are 30mm drop so should be sound when we go on family holidays and that. Anyway, been to...

Re: Coilovers, wheels, stance

Cheers for the replies so far.
Anthony, that stance looks spot on really for my needs. Am i right in thinking your (old) coilovers are down to 70mm? Lovin the spacers, 20mm looks sound.
Marshey, cant wait to hear about the Joms, let us know what you wind them down to.

Coilovers, wheels, stance

Hi there, i bought an 06 reg sport tourer 1.9dci towards the end of last year. Quite impressed with it so far, however i'm hoping to do a few mods; lowering, alloys, 225 bumper (really wanted r26 front but couldn't justify the cost!). First question is has anyone fitted JOM blueline coilovers? how d...

Re: Air con not working, no errors

I have had the same problem with mine, gas seems to be full, light goes on and off when you press the switch on dash, blower works but no air con. I took mine to an auto electrician who found no faults with diagnostic machine but said a switch somewhere under the bonnet probably needs replacing. the...
