aux lead for mp3

Its an aux lead with 3.5mm jack for mp3 player, phone, tape player (if any of you young uns know what one of those is, lol!). Plugged in next to 6disc changer; as the plugs are different its not a lead to replace the ch...

Re: Faulty thermometer

So the actual thermometers in the mirror? I've had to replace it recently cos it got smashed off and the electric windows disconnected if that's got anything to do with it.
Will have another look though, cheers

Faulty thermometer

The thermometer on the display is showing some insane temperatures, it was -32 degrees the other morning apparently.
Any ideas?

handbrake broken

Hi, the handbrakes gone on the megane.
You can press the button and move it up and down on the ratchet and the garage says the cable to calipers is fine but won't get involved any further.
Any ideas as I've had a brief search but can't find anything specific?
Cheers.

Re: troublesome alarm

Sounds daft but replace battery in key card, my old Peugeot alarm kept going off for this reason.
it's probably the cheapest starting point anyway.

Re: Car wash

Rinse, then liquid gold shampoo (no need to shamy), rinse again, then autoglym tyre black. Done. Then you've actually got a weekend :D

Re: Wing and Headlight replacement

I would be wary of spraying myself, but as for fitting bits, you tube is your friend. I'm absolutely useless, but with guidance I've managed to have the bumper off to replace bulbs a few times, and replaced three window modules.
if you are of youthfulness you could always 'sticker bomb' the wing! :D

Re: Tailgate wont open?

Defo check the wires from the hatch when open. Piece the wires in to extend them, or you may have the same problem in the future. I also had many broken wires, number plate light, wiper, rear screen, but it wasn't until lock went I got off my arse to sort things! Good luck.

no pre out

Thinking of an under seat sub for my other car, espace iv. It's pre face lift so no headunit and certainly no pre outs. Any ideas as some bass is most definitely required.

Re: tail gate lock

Anything that goes on the tailgate is nearly always due to the wiring near the hinge. Lift hatch and it's on the left, there will almost certainly be broken wires there. Piece some wire in rather than jointing the break to give a bit more length.

Re: This one is for the dads with boys

Ive noticed this with the kids; daughter could be reasoned with and have full blown conversations before she was two, but even the lad ,now five, still has to finish was he is doing before he will acknowledge anything. I think its the difference between boys and girls but some friends call it second...
