its fairly common i believe. but i don't recall a solution for it.
i imagine the heatsink is just full of dust and the thermal paste has dried up so its not being effective at heat transfer

i actually went on this accidently when i was driving to the outlet place. it's a bit confusing if you're unfamiliar to the area. wouldn't want to do it in traffic. lanes are fairly tight.

each manufacturer uses certain signals to control the functions. i don't think its possible. the xtrons won't accept the alpine signal input given by the steering wheel remote.

a cobra or clifford certified (they usually show them off for customers to see, else ask to see them/prove they're certified) are trained to work on the latest cars running canbus and so forth. so they should be able to sort it out to work from the renault card.

I DO favour HIDS, but you REALLY/ideally do need projector style lenses. As downsyndromedhorse said, there are newer released kits where they state they're made for reflector units and i don't know how those get on, but the cheap ones you can pick up for £40 or don't state for reflectors, will blind...

they're good pads. bought from ebc site

as for rotors/discs, i've only ever used OEM.

middle of the dash, behind the clock near the windscreen, there's a round sensor = sun sensor.

i believe there's a drainage point under the car you have to poke around with a wire coathanger.
