hit motor with rubber hammer, it works now and again. common fix for the motors, but ultimatley if all else is ok its the motor

i'm the same known for changing, and again for the last 14 years had over 40 cars, but mostly to buy and sell, never like shelling out on cars, so any little noise, its off lol, will dig out some pics.

injectors might be dripping,
basically dripping fuel into pot and come start up it doesn't burn off and comes out as white smoke.
are you also bearing in mind its freezing outside and hot smoke comes out etc more to start with

its possible but a mahoosive ballache, any good valet would be able to clean them mate, chances are a washing machine will wear the seats anyway and getting them back on, oh its just to much to bare thinking about.

egr valve or cat, white is normally unburnt fuel.

always nice when things go right, and on top you beat the eliments, i always find i'm 1 tool shy or just 1 bloody things goes wrong, something tiny and i always work on sundays when nothings open.

i think the power steeing is electricaly assisted on these but thats 50/50 and a guess if so it may well be there the fault lies, not sure if there's a fuse for this but worth a check

there should be a small part/notch that you can apply force to that relases the main clamp, is so difficult to explain, your lack of space will not help, but imagine the small bar on the bonnet is sat in a groove, then another bar comes over and through the bonnet bar to hold it in place, its that y...
