Re: Rear Brake discs...
renault are doing a trade deal, a set of rear disc's complete with bearings and abs rings for 72 quid. you just need to have a mate in the motor trade to get them for you. this was cheaper then trade price from unipart and other motor factors that our storemen priced for me. at least this way if you...

Re: Major electrical issues

Re: car failed mot
ball joints are tested for play in the socket. this is done by putting a bar between lower arm and hub and leveringwhile watching for travel in the ball joint. it's better to play it safe with ball joints as if one fails completly thiers nothing but the strut top holding everything on and it will ju...

Re: vacuum pipe
had spare time and pulled it off.
it turns out that the part i thought i had turned is either a blow off cap with a little filter in it or a small air intake cap. this must be to allow the valve to adjust the pressure
thanks for all the help recieved

Re: How to know when turbo kicks in help?
for peace of mind you can remove plastic engine cover.there is a intake pipe that goes from front to back over the top of the engine to the inlet manifold . at the front of the engine a rubber intercooler pipe connects to the alloy pipe. seperate these pipes and get some one to start and rev the car...

Re: ESP retro-fit
huge time gap here but.............. as all megane 2's have ABS the esp system uses the same wheel sensors. i.e the one sensor does both jobs all you should need is the ecu reprogrammed and the switch. there may be a control module but i can't see it being a major job. i'l have a look at the wiring ...

Re: vacuum pipe
