Re: HELP - 2 Weird Things (Pictures)

a long wait but i have the answer. the pump that you have pictured is in fact for the haedlight washers and as stated before one side must be broken so they t pieced off the other side. if you look round the back of the bottle you will find a second pump that does the windscreen and rear screen. the...

Re: headlamp washers

Re: My new Angel eyes headlights, now mounted (Phase 1)

normaly with headlights like these there very simply to fit but may not work exactly how you want e.g halo's on all the time. this is because the makers have to cover there backside incase you are breaking the law by doing this. daytime running lights which if you have them on all the time is what t...

Re: Door Loom

you could if you could find one. the problem is that the fault is caused by the wires becoming brittle with age and also water ingress. you may just be delaying having to replace that loom aswel, this is a common problem on renaults and in my work we prefer to find and fix that length of loom. pleas...

Re: Megane RS suspension on a regular megane 2

hi all i think the only problem will be the diameter of the strut. more powerful cars have larger diameter struts for the extra stress they take. a 2.0 dci might have the same diameter as diesels tend to have stronger parts. if you have to change your hubs your talking proper money as someone has sa...

Re: megane 2 bumper swop

i also done a mod to the rear bumper to make it look like a GT150. i made a custom pipe that comes from the standard rear box across the rear panel with twin pipes about 12-14 inches apart in the middle with 3 inch audi a3 chrome tips. i then got a damaged standard rear bumper for my ph1 and cut the...

Re: Engine dies at startup (with log graph pictures)

glad you cracked it. i noticed that you never mentioned the air idle valve. i have a derv version but presumed all petrol injection cars had these,
if these start to go faulty it affects idle.
well done

Re: Door Loom

hi the water in the door pocket comes from behind the mesh that covers the speaker. most modern cars have a plastic membrane that prevents water from getting from inside the door to inside the car but for some reason renault don't. i don't have a part number but renault will be the only company to s...

Re: megane 2 bumper swop

thats the face lift fitted, installed xenon kit while i had the lights out. checked and they give a perfect beam pattern. only thing i never considered was that the old bonnet safety release that comes out the grille is not long enough and there must be a newer longer part fitted to the facelift car...
