Re: Window Issue.
I have taken both front doors apart recienty to fix mine. The reg is held onto the plastic next to the speakers, you should see three holes in a triangle shape. My doors had water in them that wasn't draining out, wiring loom and the motor controller were wet causing crazy windows.

engine oil
What do recon for oil changes, cheep oil twice yearly or something decent once a year? Mines the 1.5 dci and the filter is so small on these it can't take long to clog up so guessing the twice yearly may be better

Re: Driving advice
How about trying it out in a big gravelly empty car park or similar? So you know what it feels like if it does happen. Alex - couldn't aggre with you more about braking on a bend, and don't know why driving instructors don't deal with this from the start. Still, I've seen worst, changing gear whilst...

cambelt change
Would like to hear from people that have done a cambelt change on the 1.5 dci. Any special tools required etc. I will be changing the pump and coolant too. I've heard it's a pain to get to. Done it before on previous car, seat Toledo petrol which I thought was quite easy even if it took me all day :...

Re: 1.5 dci pulling off shake
Hi tom, I will maybe change the other mounts first, see if that works. Were they as easy as the top mount to change?
Am I right in thinking its not clutch or flywheel related as the juddering is only when pulling off and then only intermittent?
Will look into suspension bushes as well
Ta

1.5 dci pulling off shake
Hi, I have a shake sometimes when pulling off from rest, like the engine is moving. I have changed the upper engine mount but still does it. It is worth changing the others before investigating further? Also noticed the gear lever moves slightly when accelerating \ decelerating. Its an 06 with 130k ...
