I found out why while stripping the heater side panel off for some work..
it has an electric heater in the system..doh

yes it is an option to fit if not fitted... my cc doesn't have leather , but I couldn't be too fussy as I would be hard pushed to find another A1 25k mile cc and having used a water proofer on the fabric it just rolls off like leather anyway...but they didn't half put the door switches in a stupid p...

I took the time to watch the video as I was curious about why an injector on a Renault 1.9 diesel would cause problems having removed my injectors several times to clean them on a Peugeot 205 diesel back in the mid eighties... ( by clean them I mean taking the injector out and then dismantling/split...

i have since discovered... the megane thermostat opens at 83c the webasto trips out supposedly at 76c but can run up to 83c and being as I didn't realise I had fitted a 16mm coolant hose bend rather than 19mm and the water is not circulating as fast as it should through the heater ... it will return...

can anyone tell me why my 1.5 diesel cc gives warm air so fast in winter ? the heater is set to auto 23.5 all year around (unless windows need defrosting) and after a minus cold start no air is blown into the cab for about a minute after moving off and then it starts and the air is warm and warms fu...

I did my own egr clean on a Honda civic not Renault and was told how important it was to change the gaskets or risk the warning light you have... Even with new gaskets I got the light but it did clear itself after some "driving" and hasn't been back since... Not sure if its relevant, but i...

I m just wondering how anyone could not notice they had 170 hp under the bonnet....
first gear would be redundant when making use of that power and you would spin the wheels in second without care...
