If it is the dephaser again theres no way they fitted the new corrected part. Other parts that cause the same symptons include those coils and the camshaft sensor also causes identical issues.

No this a common fault in the keyless entry system and I had it on Megane too. Heres the bad news. Most garages charge around £108 for the handle and £108 for the sensor. So if your car is out of warranty I would just live with it unless they can do you an amazing deal. You may find they start worki...

You need to specify a fitted extra which provides an ipod connection in the glovebox. Some special edition meganes have these already fitted. Think the accessory is called the tunepoint or something.

Get on your hands and knees and have a good look in the footwell. You should see a couple of cables going to the brake and clutch. Its easy to break these in every day driving.

I don't think it is a fault, just seems to be a characteristic of the engine. My old Megane 1.6 used to go it. Reminds me a bit of some of the higher pitch noises some of the newer buses make when shifting around.

I wish they'd fit the 6 speed to the Megane 1.6 as standard aswell, would be much, much better.

Yeah I do have the 7 seater and there is a noticeable difference between the two. The 7 seater is 4496mm in length compared with 4296 of the regular scenic. So theres a good 20cm difference. The main thing I like was that even with both of the back seats in use you can still put shopping behind them...

Grand Scenic

My poor little Megane was written off by someone piling into the back of it but it gave me an opportunity to replace it. Unfortunately I didn't have time to buy new (the hire car company wanted £500 a month to rent a Mondeo!) so I would have to make some compromises. Well with baby number 3 due in A...

I've just purchased a 56 Grand Scenic to replace my poor written off Megane (didn't have time to order new - can you believe a Mondeo hire car is £500 a month on short term loan!). but it doesn't have the sliding console and would also like to fit one, partly for that accessory socket!

I presume you have hands free Renault Card? If so you need to place your card in the reader for probably one of the only times you'll ever do it and the car should start.

Well the one thing that does stand out about our cars is how safe they are. Thats a very good advert.
