Re: Will Spax lowering springs ruin the ride comfort?

if you keep the standard wheels on the ride quality will be fine, the car will just feel tighter around bends etc, its when you put 18"s on with low profile tyres you'll notice its quite bumpy if you fly down b-roads or over rumble strips but thats to be expected, as your changing the setup fr...

I realise they will be harder but wanted to know by what degree. What are peoples experiences with lowering springs? I have a 3dr 1.5 dci with 16...

Re: Wrong model sticker on drivers pillar?

Quick check would be to stick your registration in an insurance site quote like Directline.com as these will match model and engine to the details recorded with DVLA (directline also put the PS power in the engine details.) If not try the DVLA website to see what comes up. Final resort would be to ...

Wrong model sticker on drivers pillar?

Hi all I was sold the car as a 1.5 dci 100 however the sticker on the drivers door pillar claims it to be a dci 80. I had a little panic (as you do) and searched the web to find that someone else had the same problem. I have no engine code plate on the plastic engine cover either but I read there is...

Hi all, possible new owner.

Hi everyone Currently I drive a 1987 Mini (so I am not new to forums!) however I am looking to change for something that can handle higher mileage and be comfortable and safe on motorways. I have pretty much decided on the Megane 1.5dci. I have been to look at one which is a 54 plate 2005 100bhp mod...
