Re: Megane cc RS .... the begining

Very different, but I think they work :-)

They look like the kind of wheel you would find on a mid-nineties Mustang or something similar

Re: Dead Sidelight Bulb

I managed to change the sidelight bulbs using the access hatch on my 2005. No other way of doing it other than dismantling the front end.

Perseverance usually pays off with jobs like this

Re: Decat after Remap

I am getting a stage 2 clutch (which I think is kevlar) from a company called 'Drive Torque' through Larkspeed soon. Once that is on with a new flywheel I can return to RS Tuning so Paul can 'turn it up' a tad more ;) The factory fit clutch in these cars are really quite weak. I guess that's why the...

Re: Wheel Offset (Again!!) - 18" Alloys

Mostly motorway and town roads. They seem to be wearing evenly with that pressure.

Re: Wheel Offset (Again!!) - 18" Alloys

225 tyres at 30 psi all round. I was running a higher pressure in the front two but found they were wearing more on the centre of the tread, indicating too high a pressure.

Re: Wheel Offset (Again!!) - 18" Alloys

They will fit no problem at all. I am running 8 inch wide with an offset of 38 i think, plus I have 20mm spacers all round. The wheels are still well inboard of the arches with no rubbing at all.

tbh you would really have to be going some to acheive any rubbing on a Megane.

Ah right. Well I'm going to be changing the clutch and flywheel myself soon so will definitely be having a poke around down there, see what's what :-)

Re: Decat after Remap

I would say more a shake than a vibration and It is rev's related definitely. I'd say it's between 1500-1800 rpm's approximately.

Re: Decat after Remap

Mine shakes a tad at lower rpm's under acceleration. I have always put it down to the flywheel.
