Re: RenaultSport Megane 225 Lux Alloy Wheels??
Best to just check scrap yards or ebay.
But be warned they don't fit normal meganes, as they 5 stud, not 4.
Think they only fit the RenaultSports, GT, and possibly CC's.

Re: Passenger Window Question
I wouldn't have said it's a problem. Seems the norm from all the megane's i've seen. Only Dynamique upwards i think has got the feature on the early car's, the newer ones all seem to have it.

Re: 55 numberplates
The problem ive found with 55 numberplates is that they tend to be a little to reflective, and they fill up the space on the number plate a little too much.
Sorry, couldn't help it.

Re: Passenger Window Question
Its the same on mine mate. My driver's works with just the radio on, and closes when deadbolting the locks on the card. You can however 'trick' the car into thinking the engine is on by putting it in gear, press the brake and start. Assuming your brake sensor works, the car should try to start but t...

Re: Would you come to a megane meeting in July?
I'd love to come, havent been to Reading in years.
Will have to check if i can have day off but 20th is best for me, although if 14th is a RenaultSport day, that should be really good.

Re: 1.9 DCI OWNERS PLEASE ADVICE NEEDED
I dont think dump valve would do anything for the diesel turbo.
Early 1.9Dci's did have turbo failure, sure there was a recal on them though.
Remap's are excellent on the 1.5's and 1.9's.
Paul at RSTuning is the man for it, has done loads of maps.

As Shiny say's the aftermarket kit is just as good in the projector lens. Not technically legal as you do need height adjustors etc, but there is loads of car's going around with aftermarket kits on.

Re: Is your seatbelt thingy getting worn?
Mine is getting bad now.
Dont think its just the way that you pull it to you, just general wear as you move about when driving.
I think it is just the 3 door, as the 5 door is a lot closer and probably comes away from the plastic as it's coming over your shoulder.

I think the tunepoint (Ipod wire) uses the cd changer socket on the back of the tape deck. So i dont think you would be able to use both cd changer and tunepoint. I could be wrong though, i havent got either myself. Alex EDIT: Same goes with the CD deck, it only has the one changer input, so can eit...

Re: Clock & Radio Input everytime I start the engine
This happened with mine when i shorted the cigarette lighter when i was cleaning it. I checked the fuses in the glovebox and one of them was gone, quick fix and all was well.
TBH, cant remember wheat fuse it was now tho, just check them for a broken one.

Re: New Tyres fitted- What to look out for?
I havent got the system myself, but i think that if you look at the valves on your wheels at the moment, there is a different coloured ring on each one. You need to make sure that the valves arent changed obviously and that they stay in the same position, i.e dont change wheels because this messes u...
