21 seconds putting the roof down will not kill your battery ! Sweeping statement. Renault advocate running engine, Wonder why they would say that. All dependant on battery condition average battery life these days is 5 years before it starts losing charge and that depends on car usage lots of short...

Re: Check Injection System Fault

I think "check injection" is a generic Renault system notification my old 2004 DCI use to come up with this for a downed glow plug. VW seem to use the glow plug coil warning for any engine fault.
I am guessing its a manufacturer thing to stop you self diagnosing

Re: Front seat removal on a 2007 Megane CC

Excellent. If you where going to disconnect the battery you didn't have to do the door lock thing, the door lock thing just allows you to remove seats whilst the vehicle is "live" but asleep but its done now so nice one. At least in oz you are guaranteed plenty of roof off driving unlike t...

Re: Engine Problem?

"Thanks for all your help and advice guys (sarcasm)." Well to be brutally honest there is only a very small handful of people on here that actually repair their own cc, most get taken to garages, you would be better off posting tec questions in the hatch forum probably stand a better chanc...

Re: Need help! Looking for the part number.

Having said that it might not be on the reg, we have had two windy regs turn up today for VW part number is on bag but can't see anything on the actual reg which equates to the number on the bag.

Re: Manual box to Auto Transfer ?

My thoughts exactly. ......
Next question would be why?
A 1.6 auto CC...doesn't the manual drink enough fuel?
To me the swap over is a major task for very little gain, I would just buy a factory built auto.

Re: Plugs under handbrake cover

The plugs behind the hand brake cover are for the switches one passenger and one driver front, I believe the wiring is already under the seats within the large connector plug you soon find it if you fish around under the seats there is a carpet flap over it and it sits low in a hole made in underlay...

Megane cc gt line parking sensors question

Just moved up to this from a mk2 cc. Thought I would pop into this forum from the megane cc forum as its more relevant to you guys. I am guess the hatch will work the same as the cc and concerns rear sensors (factory fit) 1: when going into reverse parking sensors activate are they then suppose to m...
