I haven't had any problems with the ITG and haven't heard about any problems when using a K&N, so I think you should be fine.

To be honest you probably won't feel any difference with a performance panel filter, I didn't with an ITG. However, they are proven to allow more air flow which can't be a bad thing. Plus the K&N will last you however long you have the car. Venom are usually very cheap so that eBay price sounds ...

You're going to fabricate one yourself?

I'd say the easiest way of doing this, on the 1.5 at least, is to buy a second hand cat and simply hollow it out. I think that is my next step If I can be bothered.

I had mine booked in at a well known chain of custom exhaust places last Friday. Originally they quoted £140 for a decat pipe, but once they got under there and had a proper look they said there was no way they could do it for what they quoted. They said it would have taken them about 5 hours to mak...

I got the spacers from Larkspeed in Leeds. They have a website, just stick it into Google. They are a helpful bunch over there.

You will need a set of coilovers to go that low pal. Someone is selling a set of used V-Maxx coilovers on here at the moment.

Fair enough. Sounds easier to just swap the arm out though tbh. Plus you renew the bushes when you do a full arm which is always a good thing.
