I had this problem hence me now a member here. Yes your right it's the bulb holder m8, happen on my first megane and then on my second, so yup it's the holder...

If I remember rightly this happen on one of our other megane's and it was the bulb holder itself and not the actual bulb , I took it to the stealers and was told IT was the bulb holder and it would be covered by warranty....so if your car is still under warranty take it to the stealers :) Hope that ...
