Re: playing ipods..
https://www.ebuyer.com/product/151852?utm_source=google&utm_medium=products This Belkin transmitter is what I use in my Megane. Runs on AA battery and hooks straight into earpiece socket on ipod. Select a frequency to transmit then tune car radio into it  This means you can use it in house...

Re: Gran Turismo 5!!
Got it on wednesday, only had a quick play but looks ace. They have better selection of megane's in the second hand section. Time to start saving my GT pennies. Going to have a good few hours every night over the weekend

Re: Bought a Second Car today!
Good luck with it. Did have the same idea 4 years ago so got a SORN'd tin top K reg import. Never made it off the drive apart from the day I sold it this summer. Main reason was having kids just after I got it, so redirection of finances (nappies, etc  ). Was just going to go change rear wing ...

Re: TERRIBLE Handling - any thoughts?
Something else to consider is the roundabout/road itself. Is it near an industrial estate? Mine got loose once on a roundabout driving to work at night in the rain. So did usual tyre pressure check once parked up to find all ok. Was only driving home after work in the morning (in daylight) that you ...

Starter motor not turning over, just clicking
Got in the megane to go to work on Friday night and when pressing the start button the starter motor just made about 4 or 5 loud clicks and all the dash lights flickered. Same thing with trying to start using first the clutch and start button, then the brake and start button. So with no time to look...

Not sure of the exact tyre size size (can check if you want) but know our 1.9 dci has a full size 16" steel as a spare.

This link should direct you to a "how to" thread on the mod section. Lights will fit just requires a bit of work.
Hope this helps

Re: Front Brake Disc Change
yeah did the discs and pads on mine last friday. No specialist tools required, just make sure that you got copper grease to put on the back of the pads to stop brake squeal and thread lock for the bolts for the calipers. Do a search for how to's on here should be a sticky. If not if your close can l...

Re: Ghosted rear badge
Useful reference to the original colour. I bet if you did T-Cut the whole boot lid then polished and waxed the panel it would disappear. Not necessarily for good though. only prob is if I do the boot lid the whole car will need doing and I am way too lazy to do it all  Leave it the way it is....

Ghosted rear badge
Finally decided to debadge the rear of the megane and this is what I ended up with. Just goes to show how the paint has faded. It's been cleaned and t-cut, doesn't really show up too well here as is taken on phone. It's a ghosted image underneath the laquer so have to leave it as is or re-badge it. ...
