Re: MOT question
no, you can do it. they can't test it if its not used. my boss does this with his scenic since his dog ate the seatbelt. Ta for the info, had this backed up last night by a friend of a friend who's an MOT tester. Told me to leave seat in but remove the middle seat belt. Reason being they can only t...

MOT question
A real dumb one this. Would a car pass an MOT with out its rear seats fitted (both upper and lower) So there would only seat belt fixtures on the rear floor and the side belts, no middle belt. Guessing it would fail. Only ask as still have to fit rear of car out and it's booked in for MOT tomorrow a...

Re: Stupid question? Probably! Petrol cover...
Your petrol cover cap (colour coded panel section) on the body should lock when you lock the car, tried this on mine when I first got it as was concerned about it. Sure there's an explanation about it in the manual. Lock the car and then try open the hatch by hand, shouldn't be able to open it until...

Re: What would drain the battery on my Renault megane
to get into car take little key out of card. go to passenger side door, part of door handle that doesn't move has a small picture/logo of a key. look under and there should be a small recess to fit key into. use key to prise this rear part of the handle off. you should now see a normal key lock. hop...

Re: Renaults are crap...
Do have to say I also think your a bit of a sad person to join up just to slag Renault's off. Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember when Skoda's were the worst things on the road so I still view them as that. Anyone remember all these old jokes about them? If not enjoy :D 1. How do you double the...

Re: lowering springs???????????
If you went for 35mm it doesn't look like much of a drop when you look at the car but the big difference should be in the handling. It shouldn't handle like a pig on roller skates in the corners now. Will get some pics up of mine with 35mm. Doesn't look much lower but it bottoms out on speed bumps n...

Re: lowering springs???????????
Got front one done, missis has told me to go cook tea so that all for today I think!lol biggest issue I had was with these sh1tty spring clamps! Nice one, hope the write up helped. Know what you mean about the clamps, I splashed out on a decent set that really curled round the spring and both the b...
