Re: How To: Check & Change Glow Plugs
Hi Great post I followed it and it was nice and simple to do thanks to your pics. Does anyone know what causes the glow plugs to go in the first place? Had my car about 2 months and replaced a full set on purchase and then a single one this weekend... Just wondered if I may have a fault somewhere e...

Re: HID's & Canbus
No not necessarily... The Finn means he has got a Phase1 and has previously had an aftermarket HID kit fitted which didn't involve the canbus. The kits use only the existing wiring. The original connector on the standard bulb plugs into a new loom supplied in the kit. This looms then goes to a balla...

Re: Can't see in the dark whilst reversing.
You need to see if you are getting a 12volt supply up to the reverse bulb holders in the lamp units when the car is in reverse.
Or if all else fails, try THESE.

Looks really good mate. How was retro fitting OEM xenons like jobwise? Also with the daytime running lights do people not just think you have got your foglamps on?

Use the table below to identify your engine: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r227/busternlouie/pic1-1.jpg Where "X" is "B" = 5dr "C" = 3dr Now check the code in the top corner to see which air duct guide to use. This one... http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r227/bus...

Re: Anyone catch Top Gear last night?
Avantime is one seriously ugly car though. I quite like the look of them... sort of a megane on steroids!!! Did you see the gains in bhp after a simple service. It was putting out 150 something bhp before service and 206bhp after  Unbelievable. Not just a simple service, a new manifold and i...

Re: Headlight bulb procedure?
I found changing both headlamp bulbs really easy. Have a good feel (oo-er!?) and dont rush. Remember the little tab on the base of the H7 bulb should point upwards. Its easier to line them up if you look at lamp unit from the front too. Changing the front sidelamp bulbs is harder as you are working ...

Re: Headlamp Bulbs
Where have you mounted the ballasts? Do the bulbs fit the headlamp units or did you have to cut them to fit?
