Re: Tuning box fitting and test
I came across this site a while ago http://tuning-diesels.com/index2n.htm whilst I don't have a diesel Megane it appears that they do a tuning box at a reasonable price. There are plenty of testimonials to "big them up" I friend of mine has one fitted to his MG ZT, he swears by it. 65B Qu...

Re: Safety - 3 Dr. VS. 5 Dr.
I checked a 3 Dr. Magane II Dynamique and it had 8 airbags so I guess you might be wrong. Anyway, my most concern is the lack of the vertical beam on the 3 Dr. so I'd like to know if it makes the 3 Dr. configuration less safe and more dangerous in case of a side car crash. Tal There are 8 air bags ...

Re: Will Spax lowering springs ruin the ride comfort?

Re: Will Spax lowering springs ruin the ride comfort?
I have actually not posted on this thread in ages. I got the springs but when I asked the insurance company they wouldn't let me put them on, so much for that then! I am going to spend it on a remap instead I think.
So if anyone wants a set of -45mm springs give us a shout.

Re: 2004 megane 1.5dCi
It can be quite daunting I think reading the forums about problems, but the way I look at it most people are on here because they have a problem with their car. Just think how many other owners there are with no problems with their Megs. I think most problems come with the earlier models 02, 03 and ...

They are going on eBay soon if they don't sell on the forums. I would really like to deal out of eBay because of the ridiculous seller fees!

Re: Lowering pictures please
They were 122 new. I would like 120 posted for them or 110 if picked up. I know it's not drastically cheaper but these are brand new springs. I really would like the same amount of money back for them If I could. I am open to offers though. PM me if you're interested.

Re: Will Spax lowering springs ruin the ride comfort?
Before I fit these new springs, can people advise whether they will be creaky and make dodgey noises? Someone mentioned on another thread that they fitted 40mm lowering springs on their Clio and ruined it.
Just pre fitting worries really!
