Somebody keyed my Meg last night! :'(

Some 'penisless' wonder keyed the nearside door and rear quarter last night on my one time pristine Meg! :mad

Why? I don't know. It was parked on the street not harming anyone, and now it has £400-£500 worth of damage. FANTASTIC! :cry

I hate the public sometimes! :banghead

Re: Hola all my megane pics.....

Hi mate, Nice clean looking meg! What springs did you go for? Anthony GMAX 35mm handles a lot better :-P Nice. I had a set of Spax but my insurance company told me I couldn't fit them. I'm now after a set of AVO springs because they're black so it shouldn't arouse suspicion. :idea They look ...

Re: New Type flat wiper blades

I only bought the wiperblades own brand pair because of the rave reviews they were getting. Auto express saw fit to give them an award too! Turned out to be not so great though.

Re: New Type flat wiper blades

Yeah I got a pair from wiperblades.co.uk, there own brand and they were really very bad indeed! (polite version) Grabbed another set of them but Goodyear branded this time from Costco. Almost as bad! The drivers side lifts at the bottom when going over 40mph and the passenger side judders up the scr...

Re: Rough idle 1.5dci engine mount

I would say that sounds like your gearbox mounting aka dogbone like I said in my previous post give your engine a shake and see how much movement there is https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220397988754&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_862wt_939 is the part you need Could be r...

Re: Rough idle 1.5dci engine mount

Thinking more about it now though. When applying and letting off throttle my gear stick moves backwards and forwards a noticeable amount. Would this point to worn mounts or is it normal? The car drives fine but the only thing I would pick up on is that it is difficult to engage 1st sometimes unless ...

Re: Rough idle 1.5dci engine mount

Hi, not sure if you're getting the same problem as me?? I also have a 1.5dci but mine only idles ""lumpy like!!"" intermittently. sometimes it can idle perfectly nice and smooth, then other times it can vibrate the whole car (nice) I also knew of a colleague's 1.5dci doing the s...

Re: XENONS FITTED

Xenons aren't illegal (yet) in my country :) I already have Osram Silverstars mounted. Gave up on Xenons, I'm investing that money into speakers :) Yeah, properly fitted/standard fit xenons aren't illegal here either. They are illegal though if aftermarket bodge kits are fitted to incorrect housing...
