Its got the primer bulb but iv been pumping it for a while but still no diesel in the lines. Any ideas, tricks etc? Also, i need to prime the oi...

Hi guys, i know there is a few differences between the 1.5dci like pump injectors and internals etc. But is there any internal or major differences between the 1.9 dci engine? So, iv got a 1.9 dci 130 sat in the garage awaiting fitting! Sent the turbo off to tdi turbos for a dose of fettling with 200+ bhp as the aim. Rather indepth conversion as most of the front end needs swapping, changing to a 6speed box and gear cables! Its the ND0 box, does anybody know if the trafic...

Re: front ride height

Thats rubbish advice tbh, ignore that!

There wouldnt be that much of a difference between the 1.5 dci models only the cc as its heavier. As a general rule of thumb your suppose to replace springs in pairs, maybe the new one isnt sagging as much as the latest one

Re: front ride height

Were the new struts off the same model car or off say a heavier model like the cc?

Are the struts fully home in the hub?

Mine kept doin this, on the motorway at 70mph it would bleep n flash up check injection. No fault codes, but turned out to be the egr that was stuck from time to time, gave it a full strip down and clean. Car has been perfect ever since! Mine is also 1.5dci

Re: VNT turbo onto non VNT car?

Yeah it will need all the vacuum control side of things, it was if the ecu is the same and vnt control can be activated it is a lot less work! I have been looking on the net and it might be a better idea to reverse the vac can to a boost can and use it as a convential actuator and control max boost ...
