Right, on my megane II, to go from the 1.5 to the 1.9 iv had to change the fuel lines, meaning the lines are dry with nothing in from halfway down the car. Its got the primer bulb but iv been pumping it for a while but still no diesel in the lines. Any ideas, tricks etc? Also, i need to prime the oi...

differences between 1.9 dci engines
Hi guys, i know there is a few differences between the 1.5dci like pump injectors and internals etc. But is there any internal or major differences between the 1.9 dci engine? Also does anybody know of a big power 1.9 dci knocking about as im hoping for 200bhp but there only seems to be one example ...

So, iv got a 1.9 dci 130 sat in the garage awaiting fitting! Sent the turbo off to tdi turbos for a dose of fettling with 200+ bhp as the aim. Rather indepth conversion as most of the front end needs swapping, changing to a 6speed box and gear cables! Its the ND0 box, does anybody know if the trafic...

On mine the tyre is in the arch on the back but the underneath of the car is a good 3" off the floor but on the front iv got a 20-25mm arch gap but the subframe is 2" off the floor!

Thats rubbish advice tbh, ignore that!
There wouldnt be that much of a difference between the 1.5 dci models only the cc as its heavier. As a general rule of thumb your suppose to replace springs in pairs, maybe the new one isnt sagging as much as the latest one

what coilovers are they?
my jom coilovers knocked after a week on the rear cos the bush in the bottom of the damper was loose, bit of super glue n knockin the edges in and it was sorted!

successfully removed the egr valve, welded up the steel connecting pipe as couldn't wait for the plug from Poland, plus I wanted rid completely! welded that pipe up, and then 100mm of 40mm silicone and same alloy joiner, runs perfect. I drilled a hole in the little storage thing under the headunit, just big enough to get the connector through, that way i can put my ipod under the stereo

Mine kept doin this, on the motorway at 70mph it would bleep n flash up check injection. No fault codes, but turned out to be the egr that was stuck from time to time, gave it a full strip down and clean. Car has been perfect ever since! Mine is also 1.5dci

Yeah it will need all the vacuum control side of things, it was if the ecu is the same and vnt control can be activated it is a lot less work! I have been looking on the net and it might be a better idea to reverse the vac can to a boost can and use it as a convential actuator and control max boost ...
