The rear tyre thing is very common on all meganes and scenics. FOr some reason they wear on the sides first. My dads got a 1.6 Privilege Grande Scenic which is a 2005 but done nearly 40k and has had no problems with it. I would have those other things fixed tho but with a warrenty if you expect thin...

The Michelins are ace but expensive really. I changed my fronts to Dunlop Sp2000 Sports and am very impressed. They grip 99% as well as the michelins and are 2/3rds of the cost. Not sure if they will last as long as the michelins as only done bout 4000miles on them so far

Yes, I know most Audi's consume a lot of oil also from my time in the trade. They use a litre per 1k in their diesels. Small price to pay for the extra fuel consumption in my opinion. A lot of new cars use oil during the running in period. But the dealer could definately have been more helpful

I have a 2.0l Dynamique. I've only had it since November but done 4 or 5k in that time. It's a quiet engine. Smooth and refined an overtaking is a breeze. It pulls very strongly in all gears. And yes it has 6 of them. Only thing i'm not so keen on is Economy tho I do have a lead foot. My best tank w...
