No....

I had the same symptoms, i.e. hesitation at 1500rpm and then loss of power until 2500rpm, and then I had the dephaser pulley changed and they all went away.... it feels like as if I'm driving another car... well, another engine for that matter...

Voted for Flame Red, but it only looks hot when the car is washed and the weather is sunny. At all other times, it looks dirty and dull.

But I am a big fan of red cars....

At last, my quest has ended! Less than 20 days before my 2 year warranty expires, I had my dephaser pulley, camshaft sensor, tensioners replaced earlier this week. Reprogramming of the ECU was done as well (required) and the best part is that all that was FOC! The results are absolutely magnificent!...

I have replaced the front and rear speakers, so has forum member Alonso and probably others. And the HU as well. Do a search in the forum, use the 'TS-Q131C', 'E1396', E1376' as keywords, you will definately find two guides, one for replacing the front and one for replacing the rear speakers. As far...

Voted yes, I have the exact same symptomps. When cold-starting and the temp is below 15 celcius, my car accelerates from 750 to 1500 rpm just fine, then it 'hesitates' until 2200 rpm, and then it picks up the pace again. If I warm up the car (stationary) for 3-4 minutes, then it accelerates without ...

Another factor for 'feel' is the tyre size/rim size. Are both cars of your identical in that area DaveP. Larger tyres/bigger rims will definately feel 'heavier' and give more feedback.

I can feel the variable assistance. It's really light when under 70kph, heavier until roughly 140kph and it feels lighter from there on.

Good result!

I can feel what you went through mate, this has probably trashed your belief and confidence in Renaults! I wouldn't blame you, but at least your family is ok.

Good luck with your future ventures!

Noisy front suspension

Hi to all! I'd like some help from the experts. For the last month I have noticed that the front suspension of my car makes more noise than it used to. The car is 19 months old and has 33500 kilometres (about 30000 of them on the motorway). The feeling of the suspension has been the same all the time...

When it was time for the first oil change, I instructed the dealer to flush out the old semi-synth oil, and replace it with full synthetic.

Now, I have had the oil changed once more with full synthetic, I didn't have the engine flushed.

This has happened to a member of the GRC (https://www.greekrenaultclub.gr). The glass roof needed some kind or repair or maintanance, some clever technician user double sided sticky paper instead of the proper 2 ingredient epoxy glue. She is taking legal action and she is having the car replaced. Th...
