Re: I was thinking about a GT rear bumper, any gen?

thats exactly how i want mine to look at the back, i'm not terribly bothered about the changing the front just yet. i thought it might be a cheaper alternative than going for a 225 replica, but maybe not!!

throttle position sensor? 1.9 DCI any info?

Hi, I am on the brink of trading my megane in for something less renault. Basically i've owned the car now for 6-8 months (15,000 miles) and its never been 'right'. I've had the UPC, boost control valve solonoid and ECU all replaced at renault md. While driving, the car randomly looses all its power...

Re: Roofbar/Cycle Carrier Question

if you have a towbar of course. The sort you are talking about are universal and i'm sure halfords stock them.

if you don't have a towbar already it'll workout £££!

Re: megane springs

it would depend on the comparative weight of the engines. i guess the diesel is heavier and so will sit lower because the petrol springs are rated at a different poundage. might mess up the handling quite a bit tho.

Re: Power loss at lower revs (1.9DCI)

I have owned my 52 plate Megane 1.9 DCI for nearly two years and done about 35000miles. I have always had a loss of power that happens every 100miles or so. Happens at low revs (approx 2000) - so when pulling away from a junction, or just recently when in 6th gear on the motorway - and recently has...

Re: Power Loss

right, turbo valve solonoid replaced, three weeks on and car seems fine, coughs now and again but nothing of concern, and no error messages. does it more when the car's down to its last 1/4 tank, but i just try and keep it full
