Re: rattle on start up
Congrats :) we bought our CC a few weeks ago, no looking back since and love the car :) I heard a dephaser is around the £500 mark done properly, so if you do get any probs, based on the price you paid for the car, and the money you made on the Stilo, you still wouldnt be losing out :) Good deal the...

Re: keeping rear speakers and amp out
yep
also saves you running new wires to each individual speakers as your amp output will go into the original speaker loom
The Alpine F1 status amps, come with the plug and play wiring already, which is where I got the idea

Re: White/blue smoke on startup
I agree with Dave here.
if it was anything more sinister you would be likely to have a creamy residue in the oil filler cap. which is normally caused by a dud head gasket or cracked head etc...
as its only a momentary issue on start up, I would stick to Daves advice

Re: keeping rear speakers and amp out
Basically The original stereo loom has two parts, one for speakers, one for power etc... you can use a female iso socket from your speaker output on the stereo, to connect to the amp then use a male iso socket to connect to the cars speaker input from the amp, so its kind of like inserting your amp ...

Yes I'm def gonna have to get some! Good job shawty500. How'd these take you 10 mins to fit though?!? Don't bulbs on the Megane take about 2 hours to change?? Did you remove the wheel etc? Also, how come you got the bulb pack for a Clio and not this one: https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XENON-WHITE-BUL...
