wheel vibrations

Hi, For the last couple of days when driving I can feel a kind of vibration/ wobbling from my front wheels. This usually happens when coming out of a bend and if the road is uneven. The vibration can be felt through the pedals and I can see my leg moving from it. Upon visually inspecting the wheels ...

Help with Renault Clio

My missus has an 02 reg Clio 1.2 16v, 34k and serviced to schedule. For a few weeks now the car has been making a horrendous roaring/vibrating noise. The problem is non existent when idling but when driving, the faster the speed the louder the noise. When idle and revs are raised there is an occasio...

Yeah I agree, its all very well having these novelty extras but at the end of the day what good are they when your car is sitting in the workshop at the dealers. I have had so much stick from friends who drive much older cars that are much more reliable. Seems each week I turn up to work in a courte...

Can't say I blame you for getting rid. After all theproblems I have had with mine I am seriously considering whether I should keep mine afetr the warranty expires in November. Ihad a 2006 Zafira 1.9 CDTI 150 bhp on hire for 3 weeks over Christmas and I loved it. So quick I got my first 3 points in i...

Its a shame cos the car looks fantastic and as you said before the kit you get as standard is hard to match at the price and I love the cubby holes in the floor and the handbrake and keycard etc. Its just the main reason people have a car is to get from A to B and unfortunately with these cars you c...

The Dephaser pulley problem only affects the 1.6 engines and most of them at that. I still have a knocking from the steering that I need to get sorted. I personally wouldn't buy another Renault. Too many problems too early on in ownership. However my missus drives a Clio and the most she has ever had...

It went in because it kept losing power every time I accelerated. Speed would drop to standstill. They changed the following: 1. Camshaft sensor 2. TDC sensor 3. Dephaser pulley 4. Timing belt Finally they realised that the problem was a faulty fuel pump so they changed that and it now goes fine. Al...

Steering clunk

54 plate 1.6 auto 29k. My steering is making a loud clunkining noise. It happens when I turn the wheel anti clockwise and the noise is both felt and heard when the wheel is at approximately 11 oclock. It only happens on the first turn and doesn't sound again if you turn the wheel a full turn. The cl...

i have an ipod fitted using the Connects2 system. Costs around £80 and gives pure sound. Unfortunately you cant have an ipod and cd changer connected at same time as they use the same input.

"I don't know which "plate" I have, because nobody told me where I find it." 'Plate' only refers to UK cars. Its the numbers on the registration plate that show when a car was registered. It used to be letters but now they use numbers to identify the year. For example mine is a 54 plate so its late ...

So if anybody knows anywhere that might have them in stock could they let me k...
