touch up paint for rub strips

My grey rub strips are starting to show the odd sign of wear and tear. Has anyone found a suitable paint match to use on these. I just need a touch up kit really but a spray will do.

Cheers for that. I'll have a look at the top mount and see if anything looks dodgy. As for the squeaks I might try some of that spray, only problem is locating exactly where each squeak is coming from while driving. I'll have to employ the missus to drive while I search all over. I'll also check for...

I thought about the engine mount. Would I be able to see if the mount was knackered by looking myself. I had the TDC sensor and the Dephaser Pulley replaced at the end of last year but I know a few people have needed the Dephaser replaced again. My warranty is up in November and I just seem to be ge...

Lumpy idling and noisy running

54 plate 1.6 auto 30k. When the car is idling I can feel a vibration coming from the engine, nothing major but it is quite noticeable. It never used to be there, been doing it for last couple of months. Also the engine is a fair bit noisier when running and idling. I have even been asked if it was a...

Auto Owners/ Drivers

I have a 54 plate 1.6 Auto with 30k, serviced as recommended. I was just wondering if anybody could tell me if their auto megane has the same characteristics as mine or if I might be experiencing early signs of a problem. If I accelerate moderately quickly but then as the car is accelerating I ease ...

You can count on that. The garage that replaced the steering arm was a local one and not a Renault dealer I must add. It was the nearest garage approved by my insurance.

I will make sure the car never goes there again.

Success! I have cured my wheel vibrations today myself. Got the builders in at the moment so am at home. Couldn't get to a dealer til sometime next week and really needed a car this weekend. So thought I'd have a look myself. Took off front wheels and to my horror I found the bolt that secures the n...

Yeah they are tight. I also had the wheels rebalanced at the weekend as well but problem still persists. I'm thinking it may be something to do with the suspension?
