Andy is right

it's 2 years or 18000 miles whichever is sooner. The thing is that it's 2 years from the date of manufacture not first registration. You only need to have it serviced if it's coming upto 2 years from first registration or 18000 miles.

The one thing that struck me when I bought the Megane was how quiet and refined it was inside the cabin. Yes you do get the typical Diesel clatter from outside, but inside it was very subdued. My dads 1.9dCi is very quiet inside and out.

If the fault did not exist before you had the discs and pads replaced, then it's upto the garage to resolve the problem.

Have you used this garage before?

Engine Vibrations on 1.5dCi Engines

As some of you may remember I've had problems with engine vibrations at tick over for some time now. :? These can be felt throught the fronts seats and the steering wheel at idle. The top engine mounting was replaced last October because it had collapsed, this stopped the vibrations for about 2 week...

There was mention of a few leaky compressors a while ago, but the only way to find this out is to have it pressure checked.

This is probably coming from your Air Con believe it or not? There will be a blocked drain tube and this is why you've got a flood!

All Air Con systems need a certain amount of gas in them to work. This amount is measured by weight. When recharging an air con system, the gas already in the system is first of all removed, weighed and stored safefly. The system is then presure tested to check for leaks. Providing none are found th...

The Air Con on Meganes is pretty weak IMHO. Nowhere near as good as my previous Laguna. It could be the compressor that's at fault or you could have a leak. The only way to tell is to have the pressure checked. A dye is introduced to the system, this is only visable with a special light and glasses,...

The 45 profile tyre will be more "uncomfortable" because of it's lower profile (less flexibility in the side wall)
How much you will notice this is questionable?

The ABS will kick in if it detects one or more of the wheels are loosing grip and are starting to lock up? Normally when the ABS kicks in you can feel it through the pedal because it pulsates. Without hearing the noise, it's going to be difficult to diagnose? Have you checked the condition of your b...

Hhmmm :hmm Without having access to a CLIP machine (Renaults diagnostic computer) it could be difficult to diagnose? I've been trawling through the forum for a similar problem to your's, but all the "Check Injection" fault's relate to Diesel engines, not petrols? Hopefully somebody with more experie...

Firstly Welcome to the forum :wave This sounds like you have one or more coils breaking down? There are lots of threads on the forum about coil problems on the 1.6vvt engine. They are apparently very easy to replace, never done one myself so can't speak from experience. Have a look at this thread it...
