MEGANE 1.5DCI REAR DISCS

Started to replace my rear discs on my Megane and was going great until i had to remove the caliper mounting bolts, unfortunately i have wrung the head on one of them , i have ordered a damaged nut and bolt remover tool and if it works i will obviously need new mounting bolts, any idea where i can b...

Out of interest, is it dismantle-able? If so, you might want to change the carbon brushes - it might be a inexpensive repair. Took the motor out today and give it a good clean , couldn't get brushes out but seen them and there was a lot of dirt , dust etc . Just give it a good blow out and cleaned ...

It's dead easy to get to it, if it can't be repaired i'd rather just buy a brand new motor, i know that they are made by Valeo and i will be able to fit it myself.

yeah i think it can be dismantled thanks will have a look at it on Tuesday. Where can you buy the brushes ?

Mine stopped working a couple of weeks ago and realised it was either the resistor or the motor, took a gamble and put a new resister in but no joy so now i know it is definately the motor, i could get the motor going if i held it at a certain angle but once back in its place it didn't work, i assum...
