Re: The dreaded "Keyless Entry"

sounds like a few different issues, the door handle buttons/sensor are worn out, not really an issue imo and an expensive fix. Why the card isn't comminicating outside the car at all is a puzzle, there are several aerials and its tough to believe they are ALL broken! you maybe best getting renault t...

Re: Lowering pictures please

if you're prepared to be patient and scour eBay every day, i bought my 225 bumper, with grills, fogs arch fillets and modified undertray for £70 delivered, it is in perfect condition too. Rear bumper I can't get because my insurance company will class it as a replica!!

Re: Help - im about to cry after visiting my renault dealership

as pw981 says, the alternator contains electronics that will only work if they are programmed to your car, by someone with access to the Renault computers. why? no idea!

is the car a 1.4/1.6 16v? have you read through the common engine faults on here before your mechanics start spending your money?

Re: Help - im about to cry after visiting my renault dealership

is the car doing anything else unusual? a duff alternator would not be charging the battery. i'm not sure of the connection between alternator and injectors?? i'd imagine that a 3rd party alternator could be fitted by an independent garage a lot lot cheaper, it just depends whether it needs any kind...

Re: Electronic Fault!

It sounds like the UPC has been fiddled with, there's no real way of avoiding the moisture, its a design 'feature' lol. I sealed the arch cover and the plastic trim on top when I had mine replaced. As for your dealer never charging more than £300 for 'Electronic Fault', stick with them, my 'Electron...

Re: Electronic Fault!

you need renault to diagnose it, 'Electronic Fault' applies to multiple different faults, but renault can pick up what it is when they plug it in. have they diagnosed what they think the problem is? also, if you car won't turn off again in the future, if you press the start button 5 times repeatedly...

Re: Megane GT rear bumper

i only know because I looked into it myself, and its been asked at least a dozen times on here!! the bumper is different when looked at from the side, that said you can just stick the surround on your standard bumper, but it won't be perfect. There's a member on here who's done the same. sorry paul...
