Re: Window Regulator

Hello Brian, i would take the whole motor/regulator assembly out of the door, then try a 12v supply from a battery and see if the motor works, that should get around any fuse/wiring faults in the vehicle. Regards Damian. :-)

Hello, in my Haynes manual for my 2004 Scenic 1.9 dCi, they quote New discs at 8.0mm and Minimum thickness at 6.5mm, hope this helps, regards Damian. :-)

Hello, the price for a Genuine Renault one is not that bad, if you get a factors one, make sure its a Mahle or branded one, regards Damian. :-)

Re: oil filler

Hello, yes you do put it down the dipstick hole. You have to pour it slowly (it takes a while !) and once you have about 4 litres in it, then wait about 5-10 minutes for the oil to drain into the sump. Then you can start it up, check the level once it has run up, and then add more if required. Hope ...

Hello, i think FAP came out around 2004/2004, so thats not a problem. It will be a F9Q engine, so that should be OK as well, regards Damian. :-)

Here are the part numbers, O/F - 8200 867 980, S/Washer 8200 641648. I have a 2004 1.9 dCi Scenic, without a FAP filter, the engine code is F9Q 812. Hope this helps, regards Damian. :-)

After doing some research I found that the cambelt needed changing, saw some advice on here about getting the water pump changed at the same time... I phoned a renault dealership and they quoted £400 just for the ca...
