The Renault fix is to replace both front seat airbag looms... This is due to "microcuts" on the under seat connector.. However you can just try unclipping the connectors and then re attaching them. This may work for a while.. Note that I replaced both of mine but the light has now started to come on...

It will not be the motor, as the speed is controlled by the Rheostat.. Is this a Megane Hatch or Megane Scenic? Common problem on the scenic where the rheostat and connector overheats.. I have today made some adapter/looms that allow the lights to be fitted to Megane II phase 1..

The front lights will only fit if you also replace the complete front bumper assembly as the lights are a different shape..
Costly modification i'm afraid..

The OE horn is Crap.. Thats why I transfered the Horn from my 172 to the Megane when I bought it..

No I dont work for Parks, In fact I am not in the same country.. I just suggested them cos they are near to Sideswipes location..
