Direct-fit LED daytime running lights

Direct-fit daytime running lights using LED technology are now available for a long list of vehicles (like the Mégane II) that use the Valeo Fogstar foglights as factory fitment. The direct-fit DRLs mount in place of the original foglights, so it's either the DRLs or the fogs. Most current Renaults ...

Re: Subtle upgrades

Those wheels should suit the Megane nicely, just make sure you get proper tyre size: 205/50R17 or 225/45R17. Those three sizes available on the page you linked to are too small for the Megane II.

Re: Subtle upgrades

I'd call mine subtly modded: lowered, bigger wheels for the summer, some shiny bits (door handles, window trim), black side repeaters, black or chrystal rear lights (depending on mood). Nothing too obvious but I think enough to make it look a bit special. Lowering and bigger wheels alone will do won...

Re: New style tuning headlights for the Phase 1 available

Where can we buy these from? eBay, as usual. ;-) One seller there describes them as "SCHEINWERFER MIT TAGFAHRLICHT LED MEGANE AB 03 SCHWARZ" which translates to "Headlights with LED daytime running lights". Which is false advertising if the lights really have no RL/R87-approval,...

New style tuning headlights for the Phase 1 available

If you're too strapped on cash to get a proper Audi, you can now turn your Megane 2 Phase 1 into a wanna-be Audi with these new aftermarket headlights that some Chinese sweatshop has turned out: http://sl-pro.de/eBay/4464685.jpg Eight leds provide lighting for the Audi-style daytime running lights. ...

Re: Possibilities for my 06 plate 1.5dci Dynamique

Instead of replacing your broken one with a standard front bumper you could source a Ph2 225 front bumper with all the grilles, fittings and the rubber lip. That will make the front look elegantly sporty, plus it'll hardly cost much more than replacing the standard 1.5dCi bumper. With a 225 bumper y...

Re: 06 Dynamique Angel Eyes?

Sorry mate, but none fit... :-( AFAIK they're all (= two different versions) for the pre-facelift Phase 1 only which is a different shape. They should bolt physically to an '06 car, but you'll end up with big gaps above and below the headlights as the pre-'05 headlight is a wedgier shape than yours....

Re: Number plate bulbs phase I

However, for the door bottom lights I'd recommend this type of bulb: http://www.wardenjp.com/1wled59.jpg (Not the one in the middle, that's a regular W5W incandescent bulb, but the two at its sides.) You'll understand why when you take out the door lamp and look at its construction: the 5W5 bulb sit...

Re: LOWERING HELP!

Mine's in almost constant contact with lumps of densely packed snow on the road (usually the packed snow that drops off from peoples mudguards while driving). A lump only the size of a fist and it catches the engine undertray with a loud bang, must keep the pedestrians amused (or frightened)! A good...
