Re: blocked cat? advice please
I would replace it, more or less the same with mine. Check also the exhaust manifold for cracks. That´s often the reason for catalyst fail, due to secondary air effects and then overheating...

Paint code protective stripes
Hello,
does anybody here know the paint code of the protective stripes of doors and bumpers? I'm speaking of the bright grey ones like the luxe and dynamique versions had. I'm sure it's a IXELL code...
Thanks a lot.

Oil-Temp Gauge.
What do you think about my new oil temp gauge? I placed it in the left cupholder. It´s a stepper-driven 60mm instrument. http://halbmeterpruegelanlage.de/oliver/megane/_01.jpg http://halbmeterpruegelanlage.de/oliver/megane/_02.jpg http://halbmeterpruegelanlage.de/oliver/megane/_03.jpg I think the ni...

Headlamp flasher fuction is not affected. It´s not officially permitted in Germany, but tolerated... https://www.daylightrunning.com/ (m...

Re: Megane RS suspension on a regular megane 2
Any news on this?!? I want to change only the front springs of my 1,6 16V station wagon to those of the RS. My intention is to lower it not or only slightly, but make it harder. As the outer dimensions of the springs are the same it should fit. But what I wonder al little is, if it won´t be much low...

Re: 225/230 exhaust for my 1.6..
The complete RS-Exhaust systems will fit to your header´s flange but then you don´t have the catalytic converter anymore...so you need to weld 400cell metal cat in the downpipe and behind it a thread for your second lambda sond to avoid the MIL...

Re: Induction Kit
No it isn´t. The 1.4l engine in the MeganeII is different to the 1.6l engine. There are differences in intakemanifold design, throttle position and also air-filter housing.
