Re: Megane dash is saying electronic fault please hwlp

Renault + water = disaster.
It's the main cause of all door/windows/locks/whatever faults. Anyone would think they don't have rain in France?

Re: The Dreaded Steering Lock Issue

Hi All I know this is fairly well documented on here however, I have been unable to find any information as to how to remove the steering lock if the lock will not disengage. Has anyone had much success in removing said steering lock when it is locked on and will not come off? Would I be able to br...

Clutch problems..

The clutch on my 1.6 petrol megane slips in high gear, for example when accelerating from a roundabout. Is this likely to be an adjustment problem or a new clutch? If so, what's the going rate?

Re: Here's a good one..

Forgot to mention. This was the second psychotic episode of the day.. the first was a full-on "lockfit" moment. Pulled up in Morrison's car park, both front windows open as it was stupidly hot. Removed card. All doors locked. All windows automatically closed. Doors refused to open until I ...

Here's a good one..

Pulled up on drive. Stopped engine. Removed card. Went inside. Heard fan running.
Half an hour later, daughter says, "why is the car engine running, dad"?
And it was. Car locked. Key in house. Engine running.
WTF?

Re: No power below 2300 after turbo replaced

I am sooo glad I bought the petrol model.
Even with the (stupidly) high road tax.
Most of the faults on this forum are dci issues..

Re: 3 weeks in and I need a bank loan

It's an old car (10 years is old).
Why not use second-hand or reconditioned parts?

Going back to the trader claiming to be a "private seller", just report the bugger to the tax man.
There's even a free "dobbing in" line..
Not that I've ever used it..

My battery died just after I bought the car. I got a replacement battery for £20 from the scrappy. Fine ever since..

Re: Renault Recall Refusal : anyone else had issues?

Hi, l don't think you will get anywhere with this. Cars can be hanging around for a long time before they are registered. Your car is 11 years old and Renault know when it was made. As for your window, by this age the connections to the motor will be faulty. (inside the door) lf cleaning them doesn...
