it sounds like that fuse in the glovebox, all of the items you mention run off that fuse.
Looking at the tech manual, its the 15amp fuse in the glovebox - middle row, 2nd from top for the radio. This fuse is directly beneath the 10amp fuse for the ABS.

Re: poor headlights
Can you adjust the beam from the adjuster inside the car next to the steering wheel? If so then they're halogen bulbs. If there is no wheel next to the dimmer one, then they're xenon. I assume your Megane is the facelift one with the 'projector' style bulbs..

Re: REPLACING STEERING RACK AXIAL BALL JOINT
hi guys, First off, I got my first MOT advisory this february @ 119,000 miles (the previous three MOTs, all done at a Renault dealer passed with no advisories :-) ) This MOT was done at the same dealer, and the advisory was for ... quote: "Nearside front (inesteering arm has slight play) Drag l...

Re: injector programming
to add what alex says, although im not 100% I do recall reading in the manual that if the injectors are not programmed, revs are limited to xxxxrpm (I cannot remember) - this may not be correct though, as I say I'm not 100%

Re: Just got my Renault CLIP.
ulrich, have you read the pm I sent you a while ago? the one where I sent you £30 for dialogys, which you said included clip software (but doesn't?) Well the dialogys is useless, the pdf's are in russian only. Only in russin? I use my clip through that exact software i sent you. If your not happy il...

Re: Low rail pressure
sorry to hijack this post, but whilst on the topic of the priming bulb, my 125,000mile 2004 1.9dCi has bubbles in the tube what is connected to that bulb?
I only discovered this as I was just prodding around in the engine bay - never had starting issues or anything. is this normal?

Re: Clutch slave failing? Cost?
From a Renault dealer at standard pricing, yes that's about right I'm afraid. Four year old car with 40,000miles on it, should a clutch slave cylinder only last that long? I'd ring Renault customer services and explain your situation - maybe they'll contribute to the repair. I think they should anyw...

Re: starter motor or ring gear?
A little update, Had the flywheel, starter motor, clutch, clutch slave + master cylinders changed (All genuine parts apart from a refurbished starter motor) at my local Renault dealer. I paid £1100.00. In the end, the car wouldn't start at all, just the starter motor spinning and not catching on any...

Re: clutch problems, please help
Euro car parts has a megane flywheel for about £400, from memory, other members with a sticking clutch problem got it sorted with a new master cyclinder. If you are gonna get a new clutch, make sure the specialist uses a quality OEM part. Re: solid flywheel, I have no idea mate sorry. I've just had ...

Re: Steering lock.....argh
Unfortunately the only thing I can suggest is a visit to Renault as the steering lock is part of the security system on the car. From what I've seen on this forum, and from what I've seen in the official renault technical manuals, the steering lock is coded to the ECU and may or may not be reprogram...

Re: Crunchy gearbox
Just to add a few comments, as it may help... Back in the day, my megane 1.9 dCi 6 speed was not so smooth in the mornings, in summer or winter. Got my dealer to changed the gearbox oil (supposedly with fully synthetic), and gearchanges were much smoother in the mornings, but only in summer. 90,000m...

google Samsung SM5,
You'll find it looks very similar! After all, Samsung motors are part of Renault
Just like the Koleos, it's designed by Renault, manufactured by Renault Samsung, but developed by Nissan!

Re: starter motor or ring gear?
a little update, a bit more info too... another potential issue which I haven't posted about yet.. for about 6000-8000 miles now, my car has been consuming engine oil, but it only consumes the '2 bars' off the oil level indicator and/or dipstick and then stops consuming oil... I could leave it for 8...
