Re: Juddering at full throttle

The ABS/etc problem is scary indeed. I would be like WTF!
A similar thing happened on mine today (not CC but still a Renault) as I turned left suddenly the steering decided to jerk right. But this was on a slow corner and I was able to control it but it freaked me out, don't trust the car now :-(

Re: Juddering at full throttle

Did they just do a service? They didn't do the cam belt or anything like that?
Did they change the coils?

Try swapping coil 1 with one of the others. See if the problem moves.

Does this tool let you look at O2 voltages and fuel trims?

Re: Juddering at full throttle

Sure I posted this earlier but it's not appeared!
Anyway, you don't need a fancy scanner just the android torque app or similar and a suitable OBD reader. You can graph the O2 sensors this way.

Re: Juddering at full throttle

Are your O2 sensor 2 voltage readings swinging back and forward/up and down as expected? Copied from AutoTap Website... "A good O2 sensor should produce an oscillating waveform at idle that makes voltage transitions from near minimum (0.1 v) to near maximum (0.9v). Making the fuel mixture artif...

Re: DEPHASER SOLENOID VALVE

I bought mine as a kit on eBay, the cam pulley was a Delphi.
Got rid of the rattle and worked great thereafter.

Re: CC sold and replaced with a Renault koleos

Yes, I need to buy a box of leaks for the Koleos just so I feel comfortable.
Oh, and a random electrical problem generator that works when you don't want it to.

Re: CC sold and replaced with a Renault koleos

If I was in a rush I could do this.

ripping the roof of a ford KA.

Amazingly it worked, watch around 2:20.

CC sold and replaced with a Renault koleos

Well, our relationship has finally come to an end. The cc is out of my life and so is the little fiesta I bought.
She was far too high maintenance for me :-)

Off to start a new life with my Renault Koleos 4x4 2.0L diesel.

Can we start a new forum :ot

Re: Permanent 12v to VVT solenoid, anyone tried it?

No, I've been through all that. Seems to be a part of the induction into the hall of Megane ownership :-P If you follow all the instructions carefully its fairly painless if you are mechanically adept. (I wasn't, this was my first job and I picked a doozy!) No, I was just wondering because I definit...
