I see the coefficient for a megane 2 is 0.35, megane 1 is 0.32, megane 3 is 0.33. This 3 figures from different sites not sure if correct.
I am still looking for megane 2 sedan coefficient I wonder which will have the lowest in the range, estate I would guess.

Re: picking up my 1.4 2004 megane next week
I think the noise was just road noise because was driving at 65 I normally drive slower. I normally only drive 40 to 50. On the way back from work driving as I normally do it did not sound more noisey than my megane 1. It has less wind noise and engine can not notice. On my megane 1 could hear the e...

the length of meganes
I see that megane sedan and station wagon is longer 176 inches I think it said compared to 165.
Is the 2 door hatchback and 4 door the same length? On autotrader it had them both the same length is this correct.
I am curious as the 2 door looks shorter but wonder if this is just an illusion?

Re: picking up my 1.4 2004 megane next week
One quite minor thing I noticed with megane it is more noisy running gear than previous megane. It may just be the way it is meant to be. Possibly because less wind noise than previous. I don’t think it’s the engine as when it neuteral will no revs no difference. I wondered if possibly bearing that ...

Re: Stickies for fuel consumption
I would have thought so yes even my megane 1 , 1996 1.4 , 75 bhp petrol does that. I have yet to pick up my megane 2 and I am getting a petrol. I was getting a 1.4 then a diesel1.5 now a 1.6 petrol. The first 2 did not meet the dealers high standards. I would of thought on the higher way automatic w...

megane 3 looks bland
I wondered why this may be and found this. https://www.autozine.org/Archive/Renault/new/Megane_III.html French cars used to be very strong in European market. However, they have been declining in recent years. The once big selling Peugeot and Renault are facing sales decline and job cuts because the...
