Do you have keyless entry? Sounds like the cable for the sensor.

Only thing I've done was swap the screw in aerial for a longer one on my mk4 haven't lost signal since.

I contacted Renault uk when I bought my mk3 with only 1 key
They paid 50%
It was still over £100 though

Don't think the wires will be able to take the extra amps drawn by 100w bulbs.
Amps = watts / volts
so standard 65w bulbs will draw 5.4 amps.
100w bulbs will draw 8.3 amps.
150% more power drawn.

It only effects new cars registered after the end of march.
The only cars that carry £0 road tax are 100% electric.
That's why I bought my mk4 now, Earlier than I wanted too but saving £140 a year.

Late on in 2006 a facelift phase 2 came out.
If the 225 was not given facelift at same time or the car was not registered until 2007 it could still be a phase 1.
If the top grilles are straight its phase 1 if they are angled phase 2.

Flame red Signature nav Dci with bose.
First reaction is wow gorgeous.
