Re: Megane II poor headlamps
I replaced the n/side headlamp as the electric adjuster wasnt working, I still have the old unti so might have a look at this as the o/side is looking poor in comparison and I know that has been full of water when a 'mechanic' didnt put the bulb cover on correctly at mot and I later had to drain the...

Re: Should this have passed MOT a month ago??
Mot is only valid for the date and time the vehiclle was inspected, as its an 11 plate and the discs look new on the breaking surface area, would say they are a cheapo replacement and not renault main dealer parts. Check on ebay and you will see the prices start as low as £30 a pair, last time I bou...

Just looked at their web site and if they took your reg number then part should be ok, thing you might want to ask is does it include spring and top mount.

Re: Rear brake sticking

Only thing they couldnt fix with mole grips (aka vice grips) was a broken strut clamp bolt and broken wheel stud, both on NSF of an 08 m...

Re: headlamp motor, what position when changing headlamp
Swapped the headlamp today, no issues and all ok, thanks Bob. One thing I did notice is the thickness of the wiring, the wiring currently used is the thickness they used to use in the seventies for interior lights! I know there are relays now controlling the lights but always thought they were there...
