there is a metal cage that comes with the HU, but the plastic trim fits to the metal cage...and from memory they are not the same. you would need the same cage that the plastic frame fits too.... plus the internal sub frame other wise you will have a 10mm gap around the HU and the plastic frame. can...

the Hu is very good, but Pioneers are very slow when you start filling the memory... and the facia plate frame is not the only thing you need. you need the cage that it fits too (might eb a stndard thing) and you need the sub- frame. mate, that is a slot ported tuned box!! its not Fooked up mated...its is tuned for music and SPL...hence my SQL rating. Yes you can go smaller, but its down to personal preference...i got 143.8 dB!! and beat 2 x 15" sub with twice the power!! baring in mind this sub retailed at £1000!!!! anyway...

im selling my Bass!! my whole kit is going EVERYTHING. need to replace with the standard HU - which know nothing about. Can someone advise which one to get? is it tune point or something like that? I know ive got my indash 6 disc thing in the attic somewhere. Also if anyone is interested in the boot...

AS my previous post. but disconnect the rear speaker - as upgrading the speakers is for your benifit....so you should get the best sound, which should be in the front while your driving....plus you dont need speakers in the rear

Better yet, use the money that you were goign to spend on your rear speakers, add it to the funds for the front speakers.

so then you have a good system, and a set of v.good speakers!!

Brilliant, I am also looking at one of those amplified subs that will fit under the passenger seat quite snug. check out the sticky (once it is a sticky)

basically there is a gromet behind the glove box, but that must be removed first, which lead into the.............engine bay!! :)

i dont think that is possible, you would have to take off the back bumper..there is a post somewhere on here that tell you how to do it....its a step by step guide to removing the back bumper! very informative. I will be doing the same very soon....if i gt time!! (last time i said that i was 8 month...

i second the above, it there are dents on the width of the rim then they can NOT be repaired!!!
