Press the Keycard button or door button once locks the car, twice will automatically deadlock the car, set the alarm and raise any open windows. :) This is standard setup for UK cars, but not sure if its different in Egypt. I know some countries are against deadlocks on cars from a safety point of v...

Re: Handsfree door sensors stopped working

....The doors now no longer unlock when you put your hand behind the handles - now have to pull the handle once to unlock and again to open the door. This is the same on all four doors so unlikely to be a failure of the sensors so either they have broken a wire somewhere or there is some simple way...

I could never understand why it was such a complicated way of doing such a simple job. My car now has a simple switch in the door trim that I press when exiting the car. It has a light in it to show that the sensors have been disabled, then I just lock the car as usual.... so much simpler. :)

I like this one more so I hope this is what it will...

I agree with you on that one too :D

All the best with the Golf, but still pop in. I still keep an eye on the Forum even though I have got rid of my Megane :)

Re: New CC Special Edition Dynamique S

.... The only thing is that I'm not alltogether sure about the satin chrome roof arches - might look fantastic but might look a bit rubbish. As in the Citroen Pluriel  Hmmmm, not sure on that one. Chrome wheels can look ok on the right car and right colour - usually a dark colour looks good ...

I would get them to fit the fog lights as well. Simple enough job, just the lights and a replacement stalk. I think I have probably used front fogs on my cars maybe 2 or 3 times in all the years I have had cars, so its not like I need them, but I always specify them as it just looks much nicer with ...

If hands free option is fitted then all doors have the ability to lock the car via the button in the handle. My first Privilege had problems with the hands-free and had to have a new module fitted and a new handle. The master unit for some reason is the nearside rear door handle/switch. Hands-free s...

You should be able to lock the car with any of the door handle buttons, including the boot :)

Sounds like you hands-free has problems, quite common

Both of my Meganes had the Alarm manuals in the document folder along with the standard manual and service book.

I seem to remember my facelift one was a Cobra :)

Totally agree with steve123456. My Meg will be 3 next month, I'm getting rid on Saturday, only lost £2000 in eight months which isn't too bad, retail price to trade in :cry I agree with steve123456 too. My new 06 Megane went after 9 months of various niggles and one major problem, but unlike ...

Think you will find it under the left hand black cover. It also covers the header tank and washer bottle neck.

Its released by turning the small black screws a quarter turn anti clockwise, then lift the screw and the fixing comes out.
