Re: Some strange parts...
For the bumper trim, I have been using Autoglym Bumper Care. My trims are black, but the bit the little plastic triangles infront of the door mirrors seem to fade really quickly. The Autoglym brings them up perfectly, and lasts about 3 months before I notice they gone bad again! Looking at the bottl...

The 17" on the Dynamique Megane's are Nervasports arent they? The NervaStella's are the 16" 6 spoke.

Re: Pics of completed exterior modifications
It looks to me like this kit http://www.stxstyling.co.uk/StxStyling/Cars/showit.php?pnum=1225 However, I could be wrong. It is however a nice take on the RS bumpers. But in my opinion I like the Renault Badge on the front. Luke, the wheels are a good choice too, probably as close as you could get to...

Re: newbie in need of advice and facts
The R26R spoiler fits easily to all models. I had a price of about £117 from the stealers. Best bet for a bodykit in my opinion is to look on ebay/scrap yards for a set of 225/R26 bumpers, they fit no problem as long as you get the correct 'phase' to match your car. All you need is a new arch liner ...

Re: Renaultsport Megane II Speakers
Do a search. There is loads of posts on here, it is possible to buy adaptors that leave the speakers on show, but the pioneer custom fit ones are really good. Especially when paired with the rear pioneers to match. Ive put a guide up on changing the rear ones on a 3door.

Re: Standard Speakers or upgraded?
The front speakers use the Renault connector. For the rears, there is no specific Renault speaker, so you can buy an adaptor or just crimp on a connector.

Re: Trip computer how many mile left to go
I like it going blank when it reaches about 80 odd. Simply so i know i should get to petrol station pretty pronto, but i can travel to get diesel at the cheapest local price. Also, the trip computers arent 100% accurate, so Renault can cover their backs and get you fill up slightly earlier. I'm sure...

Re: AUTO CLOSURE
Does depend on the spec of car you have though. When i deadbolt the car on my '54 Rush Dci, only the driver's window goes up. Same goes for my parents '04 Extreme Dci.
However, i know a '57 Dci estate (not sure of spec) closes all the window's including the back ones.

Re: Headlamp Bulbs
I've got the Phillips Blue Vision in mine. Came with the same colour side lights in the pack for £22 in Spares World. In my eyes they are well worth it, i've parked my car up against a mates megane with normal bulbs and certainly a lot crisper light. Makes the car look a bit more modern too.

Re: radio coded and manuals
Couple of places can do radio coding, check out the yellow pages. Renault can do it i think, but will need to know the full reg of the car the Radio came out of.
Try a scrap yard for the manual, they may have had one in with a car that came in.

Scrappy or Ebay for the CD player.
The service book and manual probably have to come from a Renault dealer.
