hi, Now what you've got to remember that when changing track rod ends and other various parts on the steering system is that sometimes if the technician/mechanic doesnt count the sides on both of them to equal the actual steering rack can be pushed over to one side, now i had the exact same problem ...

hi, Thebattery wouldnt make a noise like that , and if you've heard that noise before on your MG its probably been the starter motor clicking, you can always tell whenits the dephaser as it sounds like grinding as you say, the starter motor would give more of a clicking noise, hope this helps you po...

Hi, Our '04 16v 1.6 petrol Megane has been sluggish since we bought it in October '08 (from Arnold Clark - big mistake!) and seems to be getting worse - pulling away at lights I have to over-rev to get the thing moving without it stalling and motorway driving has it ticking over at 3000 revs at 65 ...

hi ulrich, the fact is though right that you've lowered your car and put 20inch wheels on, the suspension is not set up for this so its going to cause excessive wear on your tyres. best thing p[ut it back to standard if your not happy with it. matt

should go for some nervasports alloys, same as ive got on mine ideally you want 205/5017s on the 17 inch rims as these tyres would be suitable for your megane.

yes jack the car up but leave the wheel on and shake it side to side to see how much movement is there , there shouldnt be any play also shake it from top to bottom, thats usually how you can tell if its gone.
