Re: Changing the Sidelight Bulb...

Well apparently, if you strip every part of the car away from the headlamp unit you'll be able to get at it. :D Sorry to make light of a bl**dy annoying problem, but when you consider its a legal requirement in France to carry spare bulbs, it seems that a French car designed to be almost impossible ...

Re: Outside Temp. Gauge

Well on my previous megane the sensor would read down to minus 10 when its above freezing in the real world. Folded my door mirror in and out rather quickly with a slight jolt so to speak, and all was ok after that. Lovely French wiring, can't beat it! Try abit of Shock and Awe on it first. Somethin...

6 disc multichanger and Tunepoint

I've had a trawl through the forum for a possible answer but not found one. Is it possible to fit the tunepoint to my car with the headunit and 6 disc multi changer fitted. I read that the multichanger plugs into the Aux of the headunit where (I'm guessing from the posts I've read), the Tunepoint pl...

Re: cc specifications

On the issue of engine size I must say that I had a Megane II hatch with the 1.6 cc engine and yes it was a good puller through the gears, but due to the ridiculous 5 speed gearbox I found it to be bl**dy annoying at motorway speeds. Getting close to 4000 revs at seventy MPH and still even after thr...

Re: What are good cc colours?

Well i'm adding this post even though the last reply was yonks ago. To end all of the colour debate I have to say that the Metallic grey of my car is the best! Matches the bumpers properly, looks stunning, cleans up nice and pulls all the birds :D Only some confusion over the official name of the co...

Gear Knob

Why is the Megane gear Knob so easily marked. Have a fiesta too and it stands up to the rigours of daily life much better than the Smegane all round. Renault state a new Knob is approx £40 for a replacement, and you can't just buy the easily marked top piece. You have to buy the whole knob. Ot...
