Mine is and it's a 2005, I would have thought they all are.
Thing is, if the clutch is ok with 4 gears it must be the gear change mechanism or gearbox I would have thought.
Did you test drive it before you bought it. It's a strange one though. Any chance of taking it back where you bought it ?

Hi,
you'll learn from other posts that you could be in nightmare country.
If it's under warranty, ask them for a courtesy car while it's fixed, but my advice is to take it back pronto.
Good luck

Hi, l have the problem of my driver window only goes down even when l press up. l think my problem is in the BCM as l believe the earth is switched through there. l have found though that at the plug coming to the switch, the black wires, if l directly earth one or the other, the window goes up and ...

Re: Megane Scenic Electronic Fault
In the Megane it's back of the passenger glove box, guessing yours the same but check out on you tube.
Not easy but try and clean all plugs with contact cleaner. It can be opened to check for damp.
Good luck

Re: Megane Scenic Electronic Fault
Hi,
out of all that lot l reckon the dash warning would come from the abs one.
Thing about codes is that they are stored and some are just blips that happened.
When you read the codes, erase them, run engine, then read again to see what is current.
See what you've got now and post again.

Re: Megane Scenic Electronic Fault
Hi, l suspect it's a slight fault in the interior multiplex module (BCM) With such complicated electronics l think it's to be expected that perfection is very rare with a car over 10 years old. Let's face it, you're lucky if all the windows work. It's a question of asset or liability, when does a ca...

Re: Renault megane 1.9 DCI 2005 Fault code DF025 pre-heat unit
Doesn't sound like a glow plug problem.
You need to read the fault codes, but when you do, read codes, erase them, start engine for a few minutes or drive round the block to warm up, then read again to see what's registering now.
Codes can be old stored ones.

Hi,
it's under the center console behind the gear stick and you have to cut the carpet to get to it.
Cheers

Re: Megane 1.5dci turbo does not kick in and max speed 60mph
Don't understand why it cuts out when inlet pipe removed. Have you tried it with maf disconnected. As a try, disconnect battery for a while to remove all charge, then when connected just let engine idle for a while, don't rev. Also clean both the maf and map sensors. Is the old turbo chucking oil in...

Re: Megane 1.5dci turbo does not kick in and max speed 60mph
Hi, don't like the whoosh and bang. However, l believe that when the engine starts, the actuator closes the vnt and the egr valve should be open. When the engine revs, the vnt opens to stop the turbo spinning to death and l believe the egr closes. It could be that your new turbo needs the actuator a...

Hi, if it feels like it's on 3, but runs properly on 4, with stuff testing out all ok, l can only think that the dual mass flywheel may be going. l have heard them in other cars but not had the problem myself so don't know if they vibrate. Maybe you could show it to a clutch place and see what they ...
