Re: Battery cover screws ...

Wouldn't a tiny bit of copper grease on the threads have done the job for just a few quid?

Our 2004 Scenic with 70k miles on it passed it's second M.O.T. without anything needing doing. I think you're problem is either a lack of servicing or your dealer being very slack in noticing things that they should be fixing. How many miles have you done?

I think there is more space in the back doors for speakers. Have a search on here for some Pioneers that fit

The original tweeters tweeters have some filter arrangement on the back of them. You could therefore just wire them in parallel with the rear speakers. Your best bet is just to buy some similar all in one Pioneer ones and stick them in. That'll match the sound of the front ones perfectly

This is a diesel I presume? The bladder thing should be a manual fuel priming pump. Try and get it moving and it may solve your problem. Otherwise you'll have to try and find out where the air is getting in. Check all hoses and connections that you can see

You may find that whoever you are sueing doesnt even bother turning up, in which case you'll just win. Make sure you have supplied the court with copies of all the evidence you are going to use. Also claim travelling expenses as well. The judge won't necessarily prompt you but you can ask for them. ...

I guess you need to find out who the previous owner took the extended warranty out with. You could register the car on the myRenault section of https://www.renault.co.uk and see if anything comes up.

Ah, tat 9 is lovely. Mine was a Y reg so one of the earlier ones, in a lovely Champagne colour. My Dad bought it new and I inherited it years later as my first car. The gearbox died at about 124k miles and I got rid of it unfortunately.
