Owner's manual for 2008 (58 plate) Megane cc

Hi guys, anyone know where I can download a pdf of the CC owners manual? I've done a few searches including this forum but no luck. I seem to get pointed to dodgy pay sites which I reckon are full of viruses. I have actually got a proper book that came with the car, but it would be great to have a h...

Re: Took advantage of the weather

Nice pics. I always take advantage of the weather when the sun makes a special guest appearance. Any excuse to have the roof down! :life 8-)

Rear screen demister not working - fix!

Hi. The rear screen demister stopped working the other day, so after checking the fuse (OK) I opened the roof to a half-way position and looked at the connections to the element, to find that even though the wire was fitted to the spade connector - the copper tag itself had become dislodged from the...

Re: Heater

Could be several things. Something preventing the air blender flap from opening/closing properly, the actuator motor for above on its way out, faulty temperature sensor, loose connectors/wiring from Control Unit to various components associated with heating/ventilation system. Either way, it'll be a...

Re: Does my 2.0 diesel Megane cc (2007) Dynamic S have a cam belt or chain?

Hi, if it's any help I have the 1.9dCi. Early days for me yet - I've only had the car for just over a month - but it's looking something like 44 - 45 mpg combined. I reset the av. mileage each time I refuel, which is about £30 or £40 a week. Maybe I should just leave it alone, I dunno. I reckon on a...

Another spare wheel for cc thread!

Hi, I'm planning to get a spare wheel for my cc, can't bear the idea of having to rely on that cheap-arse foam kit. :tut Don't mind going the space saver route so can someone recomend wheel diameter and tyre profile? Also do I need shorter wheel bolts? I may also visit some scrappies and try to get ...

Colour-coded bumpers does improve the overall appearance of any car, imo. Could you post up some before & after pics?

Re: Air Con problem wit Megane II 1.5 dci 07 plate

Could be several things ranging from cheap fix (eg. blown fuse) to re-gas, or to big bucks (compressor / evaporator failure). Best bet is to pop round to Kwik-Fit as Peter said, where it's usually likely to need a re-gas. Plus they check out the system for leaks, pressure test etc. and it's 'no fix,...

Uh oh, forgot the card!

Hi All, I managed to avert a minor disaster yesterday evening, drove up the street coming home from work and saw wifey on the doorstep. She said: 'don't switch the engine off, I need the car', so I parked up, got out, kissed wife, went indoors and off she went. About a minute later, I realised that ...

Poor radio reception - possible remedy

Hi guys. As chuffed and pleased as I am with everything on the car, the amount and quality of kit is well impressive, I was very disappointed with the radio reception. I had also heard about other owners who have similar issues. FM being the worse, it crackles, fades in and out, the radio goes into ...

It all started when we both decided it was time for something different, and the mrs had fancied the idea of a con...
