Re: Suspension question? Will 1.5 dci springs fit a 1.9 dci
A spring specifically for my car snapped so i certainly wouldnt be up for putting some lower rated springs on, although when it snapped i went to a scrappy and picked up some springs from a petrol meg, just the rear two, to make do with till i got my new springs sent out, which took 6months of argue...

Re: Suspension question? Will 1.5 dci springs fit a 1.9 dci
im pretty sure that the 1.9dci springs are higher rated because of the increased weight.

Re: Suggestions 1.9dci 120 standard
Back pressure is not a desirable trait in any engine/exhaust system combination full stop. Appart from diesel and non turbo engines. believe me i have had problems with a non turbo'd petrol car because of loss of back pressure, resulting in shat acceleration, it was sorted by a performance garage a...

Re: Suggestions 1.9dci 120 standard
Please explain how the pressure created is different, I am intrigued. Did i say anything about pressure created being different? Right high power diesels ie a 1.9dci are built with the minimum back pressure in mind, this is done to prolong the engine and turbo life, if you loose some back pressure ...

Re: Suggestions 1.9dci 120 standard
NA petrol engines are affected by back pressure, Turbo Petrol engines are not, any size exhaust and so on, diesel turbo engines are a whole different ball game to a petrol turbo engine, the boost and pressure running thru a derv is much different to an engine that will be refered to in "Tuning ...

https://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=659727 Believe what you want but it is a myth. So long as the fuelling of the engine can be adjusted to suit the pipe there is no problem. Totally different arguement that link, im not talking about back pressure relating to power, which is obvious...

Re: Suggestions 1.9dci 120 standard
Ha what exhaust place did you go to? "Loose back pressure", like that's a bad thing! You want as little as possible. You do want back pressure, otherwise it will knack your engine and turbo as the gasses wont be exiting your car quick enough and just hanging in your exhaust, but my ...

first off, ITG pannel filter, exhaust system, get the car breathing and releasing gases better, sports cat if you fancy spending that much, im running no backbox on my dci, exhaust place said it would be to loud and loose back pressure, i reakon its niether, but only a RR would prove any thing. Re: replacing grey/black bumper strips
take your car to a body shop and ask for a price to have them removed the spaces filled and full bumper resprayed, it will look mint, proper euro'd smooth and sexy, either that or look for a crashed meg that you can pinch the already painted bump strips from so you wont have to sand them flat. eithe...

Re: Megane cc Spoiler
this actually looks really good, i was expecting a massive silly looking thing, but the one you have suits the car very well, now you just need some big anthracite alloys and a r26 front end, colour code the rear and you'll have a big pimping cab.

Re: 225 SPORT BUMPER ON MY DCI
you cut the two middle bits down so it sits flush with the rest of the splitter, then at each end you need to take a few inches off, as the leon bumper is bigger than the meg bumper. I paid about £24 for mine from seat so i would go check with them before you buy that, as there stinging you with del...
