Alarm sensors where faulty and have been replaced. Had demonstration of the process to temp disable internal sensors, which was pressing the start button 5 times .So happy again.

Bought the changer, posted on the "code site" got a response straightaway.
Fitted changer today and the code worked.
No backlight wire in sight so not going to bother.

That single blue wire tells the cd changer to light up when your headlights are on. It goes into the loom for the radio display in the center of the dash. I found this out when retro fitting a renault cd changer to my megane. Took it out of one megane to put into mine couldn't see where this wire w...

Recently aquired a 06 CC dynamique, are there genuine Renault mats available for this car? I'd prefer carpet (dark) but if nothing else rubber will have to do. Any pt nos or links appreciated..Dave

Thats at least 3 different types now.
Have decided to chance it and pick up a MH9RN02S (with connecting lead) and see if I get lucky with the code like you have.

I just fitted my CD changer and it was straightforward as possible. You just need keys to remove the HU. I needed Renault dealers just for supplying the cable. I got my code for free on some forum. From previous posts it seems that the indash changer is available in two different backlit colours, is there any way of knowing which one is which without powering it up?
